Epic Space Opera

An Epic Space Opera is a genre of opera invented by Harley P. Mathewson when he wrote Big Fight Amongst the Sparklies. There are several qualities an epic space opera has over normal opera:

  • It is performed in space.
  • All music is sung in New Canadianese.
  • Its duration is at least 37 hours.
  • Men are not allowed to play the parts designated for women and children.
  • It can not suck or be boring (according to Mathewson).
