Triumvirate

Among JUOD, The Triumvirate is a symbol representing the three virtuous points of joining. Each point is also represented symbolically.

The points of The Triumvirate are:

• The Return of the Attack of the Star Wars Marathon: The Revenge Strikes Back
• The Triumvirate

The fact that one of The Triumvirate's points is The Triumvirate itself shows how The Triumvirate is paradoxical in nature. This paradox has been examined as a possible tribute to the great Harley P. Mathewson, who was himself paradoxical in nature. However, this link has yet to be proven. The Triumvirate is also probably a secular version of the Joino-Mathewsonism Trinity.

Syntax

There is an interesting tradition among JUOD related to the use of The Triumvirate in printed text. Apparently, the words "The Triumvirate" can only be printed in powers of three. In other words, if the phrase "The Triumvirate" is used more than once in the same sentence, then The Triumvirate must be used a third time; The Triumvirate can never be printed exactly twice per sentence. On the rare occasion that it appears more than three times in a sentence, it must be repeated nine times. Failure to abide by this rule is considered a grievous act against the JUOD Movement and results in certain death. This restriction is usually not enforced when The Triumvirate is spoken.
